DeborahYes, but I've been trying to be more positive! yeah, just a little encouragement, I'm sure some of you would've read Monday's daily bread devotions? Yupp, it really reminded me of something really important! That we are not alone, though you may feel as if you've nothing left, you still have God! And that is more than enough for great victory! Wow. I'm not saying my life is like super pathetic and hopeless, but really, its just so assuring to know that we have God fighting our battles for us! His promise " the battle is not yours, but God's". I'm sure many of us would've felt like oh mannn. Why must life be this way, why must our friends disappoint us, why must our parents nag, why must we be in a certain school. Why why why. Yeah, like why am i in PJ! haha. yeahh. Just an example by the way. haha. But yeah, this passage really reminded me to just turn my eyes on the Lord and put ALLLLL my hope in him, i have his reassuring promise and that's all i need.
Hebrews 12:2 "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God".
Lets keep our focus on Jesus, don't be distracted by the things of the world, whatever tiredness, sickness, unhappiness etc etc from wherever like school, let the song "turn your eyes upon Jesus" run through your head! I really liked the quote at the end, "When all you have is God, you have all you need".
YEAH! haha. hope i didn't bore anyone. Yeah. i know its like a known thing like yeahh duh... God's always with us blah blah blah. Buttttttt! Its just something which really got me back on track, readjusting my focus and all. School's not gonna be easy for anyone! So press on and know that its a battle you ain't gonna fight alone!
