Joel Pang says:
The high point of 2008 was no doubt the camp, when I saw many of you guys open up. That sharing that night was really wow, heart warming. It's really God's work that made every one of us bloom.
The low point of 2008 wasn't really low but there was a point of time when I felt that the situation I was in was rather meaningless. Guess when? ARMY HAHAHA. Ok initially everything was chill, until the 8th day of army, 16 July, that evening just suddenly felt empty. Like I was wondering how I was glorifying God in the things I do cause the things that I did were either for my commanders, or for myself, to be the one of the better and more outstanding person among my section and platoon. So yeah left me unmotivated to do stuff, and just went through the routine.
Cutting the long story short, all in all I rediscovered that I'm here to do my best, so yeah I slept well and woke up the next day all set. That was probably the most enjoyable day of army cause I did the drills and exercises with gladness, and set my sights for OCS.
IRONICALLY on that day itself, somewhen in the evening, I dislocated my shoulder. HAHAHA. God has a sense of humor I don't know what's up but anyway I'm here and He has given me more free time for a reason, and one of the minor reasons is to type this.
For 2009, I want to focus on God even more, and less on myself and my wants. It's just the ongoing process to take up Christ and deny yourself.
