Ask and You'll Receive
Hi Oak,
Hows your week? Tomorrow is a public holiday right? Labour day, those having mid years use that 1 day to brush up=)
But, that isn't what i want to talk about.
As the Title Says, Ask and You'll Receive.
Today i had my 2.4km run for NAPFA. For Some, 2.4KM may be some no kick run, for example Junxu, it might be his cooldown exercise or something..haha.. For me 2.4KM is really really really tough, and through the course of running you cannot rely on anybody Except God. Like really only Him.
2.4KM = 6 rounds outside my school.
Back to my 2.4KM History from Secondary 1 untill now, i had never pass my 2.4KM at the first try, it always takes about like 2-3 times before i finally pass. Therefore, i was having a mindset of " i'll surely fail this first time " However, i did say a really really quiet prayer in my heart hoping this time i'll pass to save myself the hassle of re-running. Through the 3 years of running 2.4km i will stop and walk during the 2nd round, however this time i stopped at the 4th round instead.
After the 2nd round, i started to feel a little Goggy, but this sentence just kept repeating in my head, whenever i think of it, i'll just press myself to continue running. This sentence was:
" If Jesus was able to go Through That? What About Me"
Simply saying, If Jesus could go through that torture, why can't i continue running?
Thus, i ran untill the 4th round where i couldn't take it anymore and stopped=)
In The End, i passed by 10 secs=D.
But that isn't the moral of the story, The moral of the story is, prayers do come through and all you have to do is Ask for it and you will receive!
Do Continue to work hard and press on towards Mid Years, always keep yourself in constant reminder of God's Grace and you'll succeed
Cheers,
Junting
